We collect information you provide directly, such as journal entries and habit logs. This data is used solely to power the AI Guardian and Momentum Map features.
Your data is encrypted and stored using secure Firebase infrastructure. We do not sell or share your personal recovery data with third parties.
Interactions with 'The Guardian' AI are processed to provide personalized support. This is not a replacement for professional clinical advice.
SoberSteady requests access to your device's location solely to facilitate the 'Aegis' Emergency feature. This allows the app to identify the correct local emergency number (e.g., 911 or 112) for your current region. This location data is processed locally on your device, is never stored on our servers, and is never shared with third parties.
To delete your SoberSteady account and all associated habit data, please email us at support@sobersteady.com with the subject line "Account Deletion". We will process your request and purge all data from our Firebase servers within 7 business days.
